LIFE APPLICATION:

Human Vs God's will

The Human will:
This meditation portion gives us a clear view of the difference between human will and God's will.
WILL is the decision making part of our soul.

A. The Human will is always evil because of Adamic nature in us.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Genesis:6:5

B. The Human will joins itself with the evil spirit to stand against God.

Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.
Psalm:56:5

C. Human will seeks its own glory.
He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
John:7:18

For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.
John:7:4

D. The Human will seeks to steal, kill and destroy.

After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
John:7:1

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Malachi:3:8

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
Psalm:119:95

E. The Human will stands always against the will of God.

Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?
Psalm:78:19

F. Human will thinks of things of the world and not of God.
But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.
Mark:8:33

God's will:
A. God has plans for us.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jeremiah:29:11

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
Genesis:26:3

B. God's will has a time.

It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.
Psalm:119:126

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Ecclesiastes:3:1

Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.
John:7:6

C. God's will is that all  must be saved from eternal damnation

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
Galatians:1:4

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:39

Submission of Human will to the will of God.

God wants us to submit our will to the will of God's. Let us learn it from Jesus...

A. An experience of being born again is the will of God.

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
John:1:13

B. Christ prayed the prayer that God's will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew:6:10

C. He was willing to do God's will even when the whole world stood against him and even when he had to die.

And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Matthew:26:39

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
John:4:34

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
John:6:38

D. He was so tuned even to God's timings. (V8,9)

Dear Child of God,
This word "WILL" is a very strong word. God has given us choice to carry out our own will or that of the devil or submit  to that of God.

Let us see some bad examples too.

1. Eve succumbed to the will of the devil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Genesis:3:6

2. Judas succumbed to the plan of the enemy.

And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
Matthew:26:15

3. Lucifer fell because of his will.

Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
Ezekiel:28:2

Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
Ezekiel:28:9

We will succeed if we can submit our will to God.  Or else we will sell it to the devil. The choice is ours. We are much safer in God's hands.

A. Let us therefore  submit our will to God as CHRIST did.. that we can see God's will unfold in our lives, however difficult it might be.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James:4:7

B. Let our minds be renewed according to the will of God that CHRIST will be glorified in us.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans:12:2

C. Let us ask of God things according to his will that CHRIST be glorified in us.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
1 John:5:14

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John:2:17

So let us commit ourselves to the will of God and abide forever. Amen.
