WHERE ARE YOU HEADING TO? church- The BRIDE of CHRIST; Meditation John 3:22-36

1. Jesus came to Judea and he stayed their for a while and baptised. John the Baptist was also baptizing people for repentance in the same place. (V22,23)
2. Again, the Jews questioned John about his witness about Christ and that many people go to Christ, than to himself. ( V24-26)
 3. John confirms again his witness that nobody receives anything unless it is given to them from heaven and that he himself is not CHRIST but the one sent before him. (V27,28)
4. He speaks about Christ being the bridegroom of the bride, the church, he himself being the friend of the bridegroom. He also rejoices for hearing the voice of CHRIST. (V29)
5. He further endorse the testimony of CHRIST, as something that he speaks of what he has seen and heard as they are the words of God and God has given his Spirit without measure in him. (V31-34)
6. He wanted Christ to increase and himself to decrease. (V30)
7. If we can receive his testimony we know that God is true. (V33)
8. The Father God Loveth Christ and has given him authority over all things. (V35)
9. Hence if we believe in Jesus CHRIST we will have everlasting life, but if not we shall not see life as the wrath of God will abide on us.

Life Application 1:
WHERE ARE WE HEADING TO IN LIFE - As the BRIDE OF CHRIST ?
Every born again Christian, washed and redeemed by the blood of Christ are a part of a heavenly church - The bride of CHRIST.

Let us go through a few scriptures:

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Revelation:21:2

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
Revelation:21:9

The great city, the new Jerusalem is going to be the bride.
And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Revelation:21:10

What is this new Jerusalem?
1. This is a place where the saved in Christ are going to be.
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
Revelation:21:24

2. This is the place where there is no need for sun or moon.
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Revelation:21:23

3. There will be no abomination or filth and only if our name is there in the lamb's book of life we can be there.

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Revelation:21:27

The church is the bride of CHRIST.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Ephesians:5:23

Christ has bought the church by giving himself for it.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Ephesians:5:25

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Colossians:1:18

The church is the bride of CHRIST.  Christ being the bridegroom and you and me are going to be the part of this bride church

We are knit together to be a part of the bigger body of CHRIST.
And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
Colossians:2:19

How does CHRIST wants his bride to be?
1. God wants his church to be blameless.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Ephesians:5:27

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Philippians:2:15

2. Washed by the blood of the LAMB.

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Revelation:7:14

3. Subject to Christ:

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Ephesians:5:24

4. A Royal priesthood
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1 Peter:2:5

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
1 Peter:2:9

Life Application 2:
Witness of John the Baptist:
1. John never hesitated to lift up Christ, though he is decreased. (V30)

2. He did not hesitate to acknowledge that he is not CHRIST, but only the one who came before him (v27,28)

3. He testified that CHRIST is the one who came from heaven and he knows the things of heaven than any one else. (V31-33)

4. He acknowledged that CHRIST is full of Holy Spirit without measure.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
1 Corinthians:15:45

5. And moreover it was revealed to him that CHRIST is the bridegroom for the bride called CHURCH. (V29)

6. Christ is given all authority in heaven and earth. (V35)

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Matthew:28:18

7. If we believe in Christ we will have eternal life. But if we do not believe we are under eternal damnation.

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
John:5:29

God wants us to look up to the heavenly Church than the one on Earth today. We might see a lot of disorders in the churches of the present age. But Christ wants us to adorn ourselves each day as brides waiting for our groom. Let us also along with the Spirit say 'come'

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Revelation:22:17

May the Spirit of God reveal you more.

Breaking strongholds of GUILT: part 2: Meditation john 3: 9- 21

Condemnation and guilt are major strongholds gripping the minds of people today...some people are pushed even to end their lives because  of GUILT.

Let me give you an  example from the Bible. Let us look into the series of events that happened in the life of Judas.

1. Judas gives place to Satan in his heart:
Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
John:12:4

Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
John:12:5

This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
John:12:6

2. Satan enters Judas to betray Jesus:

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Luke:22:3

3. Judas betrays Jesus:
And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
Luke:22:47

4. When he saw Jesus was condemned he repents and tries to help Jesus if he can release him.

Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
Matthew:27:3

5. Judas hangs himself out of GUILT.
And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
Matthew:27:5

Guilt is painful; guilt kills us;  It can be anything of our past, that is throwing a dark shadow of Guilt on our future.
Today Is the day to break that stronghold from your life.

Satan tempts us to sin- sins condemns under the light of the Law- condemnation breeds guilt - guilt brings shame-
Shame brings destruction.

All of these work in darkness. Shame does not allow us to address this issue in the  light of the gospel.

We are unable to talk out the real problem and cry within ourselves, making issues worse.

Now let us see a godly example from the word, how Peter overcame guilt as compared to Judas.

1. Jesus prophesies about Peter denying him.

Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
Matthew:26:35

Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
Matthew:26:34

2. Peter denies Jesus thrice.
Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.
Matthew:26:74

3. Peter cries and repented.

And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
Matthew:26:75

4. But when Christ rose up on the third day he was the first to run to the sepulchre.

Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
John:20:3

5. God restores the relationship again.
He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
John:21:17

Do you love Jesus? Come back to him as Peter did.

Christ did not come to condemn us but to save us. V17.

If we can believe this we are  no longer condemned as it is written,
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans:8:1

Praise be to God... we are no longer under the ministry of Condemnation, ie, the Law. But we are set free from its bonds.

For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
2 Corinthians:3:9

Sin and guilt have been already condemned by what CHRIST did on the cross in the flesh. Now we are free to worship him.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Romans:8:3

Let guilt not keep keep you away from the presence of God. Today is the day to reconcile with God and bring it to light.

1. JESUS LOVES YOU NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE.
2. JESUS LOVES YOU THE WAY YOU ARE.
3. JESUS LOVES YOU HOW MUCH EVER DIRTY YOU ARE.
4. JESUS LOVES YOU EVEN IF YOU ARE UNDER DEEP ADDICTIONS.
5. JESUS LOVES YOU WHATEVER BE YOUR PAST; HE WANTS TO GIVE YOU A BRAND NEW  FUTURE.
6. YOU DO NOT NEED TO ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING TO WIN THE LOVE OF GOD

 Simply to put,
YOU HAVE HOPE IN Jesus.
Also, you do not need to read 20 chapters of the Bible or walk a 1000 miles to win God's heart.

He loves you and he is willing to free you today.

STEPS TO FOLLOW FOR FREEDOM FROM GUILT, SHAME AND CONDEMNATION:
1. Honestly Name it: address and acknowledge your hidden emotions, feelings and problems before God. So that it is brought into light.
2. Deny the Lies the Devil puts in your heart, that you are not accepted.
3. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that you can come back to Jesus and he will break these strongholds.
4. Now, pray this prayer with me,

Dear Father,
I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus has carried my guilt and shame at the cross in the flesh and I have PEACE with you through JESUS CHRIST.  I give you my life and I invite you into my heart to break every strongholds ( name it if you would want to) of GUILT and shame in my life. Thank you for loving me. In Jesus mighty name.  Amen.

Please send prayer requests to: christloveinus@gmail.com and we will pray for you. God bless you all.

Abiding in Christ: A Meditation John 1:35-42

1. John the next day again confesses Jesus Christ of Nazareth as the Lamb OF GOD in front of his own disciples.  (V35, 36)
2. Hearing this witness of John two of his own disciples turned away from him to follow Jesus. ( v37)
3. Seeing them following, jesus asked them what they were seeking? The disciples asks him for his dwelling place?( v38)
4. They not only dwelt with him but also ABIDED with him for a day. ( v39)
5. One of the person to follow Jesus was Andrew. (V40)
6. The first thing he did once he was conviced himself, that Christ is the Messiah, he immediately informs his brother Simon Peter. ( v41)
7. When Andrew brought Peter to Jesus, he behold ( looks straight into his life) and prophesied on him, that he will no more be Simon the SON of Jona but he will be cephas...meaning a STONE. ( v42)

Life Application:
1. John had his own disciples, but still he never hesitated to glorify Christ in front of them. How are we when compared to John ?
2. Do we feel insecure when someone close to us leaves us and go? How do we react? V37.
3. We have decided to follow Christ. What will be our answer to the question WHAT SEEK YE?
4. The WORD of GOD says in psalms 91:1, that
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm:91:1
It is revealed to me that Jesus is the secret place of the most high, that the disciples dwelt.
5. The glory of CHRIST is so strong that you do not want to just dwell there, but you want to abide there all the day.
6. Oh, if we can only dwell in that secret place and abide in the presence of CHRIST, how much more can Christ reveal himself to us as he did for Andrew?
7. Immediately after he was revealed of Christ, Andrew started evangelizing to his brother Simon Peter, a close family member and brought him to Jesus.
8. When Peter came to Jesus, his life changed totally including his name.
Do we seek, dwell and abide in the presence of God so much, that we get deep revelations about Christ?
Do we advertise CHRIST and bring people to him?
How much our lives have changed after we met Christ as compared to Peter?

Let the spirit of God shed his lights into our hearts as he minister unto us, through these words. Amen.

The Sons of GOD . Meditation; John 1: 6-14

1. John was sent by GOD to bear witness about Christ. (V7)
2. He was not Christ, but was sent as a witness for CHRIST. (V8)
3. Jesus Christ is the true light who can light any man who comes into the world.( v9)
4. He made the world. But the world knew him not. ( v10)
5. He came for his own people but they did not receive him ( v11)
6. But if we can receive him as CHRIST believing in his name, he gives us the power to become the SONS of the most high GOD. (V12)
7. As we are not born by the will of man or flesh or blood, but by God himself. (V13)
8. The WORD of GOD himself became flesh as JESUS CHRIST and he dwell among us.(v14)
9. He was full of grace and full of truth (v14)
10. His glory was the same as that of the Father's glory. ( v14)

Life application:
1. What do you think about John the Baptist?
2. Have we been personally enlightened by the light of Christ?
3. Do we know our creator?
4. Did we believe and receive him as CHRIST.?
5.  Do we believe that we have power to become the SONS of God?
6. Can we see Christ as the WORD OF GOD?
7. Can we see Christ being glorious, full of grace and truth?

An Insight into the book of Hebrews - Chapter 2

This chapter clearly explains, the plan of salvation of how Christ suffered for our sins and redeemed us by his blood. This blog is intended to make the understanding of the word of God a little easier. Hence, I urge you to meditate this Hebrews Chapter-2, straight from the Holy Bible, and use this post only as an aid for better understanding of the scriptures. Also, take a glance of An insight into the book of Hebrews - Chapter 1, for better continuity. Be blessed.

Be Serious about your Salvation:
  • We should give heed to the things that we have heard. (refer Hebrews Chapter 1) or else, at any time we might let them  slip. (Heb 2:1)
  • In the past, even the words spoken by angels were considered so important that every transgression and disobedience to that word was judged and punished. (Heb 2:2)
  • But, in later times, the message of salvation was spoken by the Lord himself; (Heb 1:2). It was also confirmed to us, by them that heard Christ speak. (Heb 2:3)
  • God himself bore witness and proved the words of Christ, with signs, wonders, miracles and by the gifts of the Holy Spirit according to his own will. (Heb 2:4)
  • Then how much more we need to be serious of the salvation through God`s only son, Jesus Christ Of Nazareth? How will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? (Heb 2:3)
Man made to be a little lower than angels:
  • God did not subject the world unto angels. (Heb 2:6)
  • But God has put all things in subjection under man`s feet, though  all things are not yet under him. (Heb 2:8)
  • God has made man a little inferior to angels. Yet he has crowned him with glory and honor, setting him above all of God`s creation. (Heb 2:6,7)
  • This is what is written in one place about man, revealing the position of man and angels; "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:" (Heb 2: 6,7)
Jesus Christ took the form of man so that he can taste death for us:
  • Jesus Christ took the human form, a form that is a little lower than the angels yet crowned with glory and honor, so that he can take the Suffering of death. ( Heb 2:9)
  • He took the human form, so that he can taste death for every men, by the grace of God. (Heb 2:9)
  • All things are made for Christ and by Christ. Yet, being the captain of salvation, God chose to perfect him through sufferings, so that he can bring many sons (people), into glory. (Heb 2:10)
  • He took a human form so that, he who sanctifies (Christ himself) and the one being sanctified (us) are all one. Hence, he is not ashamed to call us his brethren. (Heb 2:11)
  • This is what is written in verse 12 and 13 as, "I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. 13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me".
  • He did not take the form of angels, but took on him the form of a man, the seed of Abraham. (Heb 2:16)
  • In all things he took the form of his brethren, so that he can be a faithful and merciful high priest in all things pertaining to God and to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. (Heb 2:17)
Jesus` victory over death:

  • We, being children are in flesh and blood, Christ himself took the same form, so that through his death he can destroy the devil who had the power of death. (Heb 2:14)
  • Thus he is able to deliver anyone subjected to a lifetime bondage to the fear of death. (Heb 2:15)
  • Because he himself suffered being tempted and took victory over it he can help everyone of us who are being tempted too. (Heb 2:18)
Life application:

  1. We need to be serious of our salvation, as it is brought unto us by Christ himself.
  2. Through the sufferings of Christ, we have been made children of the most high God.
  3. Christ took all sufferings on the cross, that he can sanctify us by his blood.
  4. He took the form of a man, so that he can be a faithful and merciful high priest to reconcile for our sins.
  5. As children of the most high God, we need not be under a lifetime bondage to the fear of death. The power of death, the devil himself was DEFEATED, by the death of Christ.
  6. Last but not the least, Because Christ went through various temptations and overcame them, he is more than able and more than ready to help us out in our temptations too.
Dear Child of God, if you are under a lifetime bondage to the fear of death, or caught up with various temptations rest assure, we have a merciful and faithful high priest, who can deliver us from the pangs of the evil one. If you are a victim, please, repeat this prayer with me.

" Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the son of the most high God. I believe that you came in flesh and blood, so that you can sanctify me and give me victory over sin and death. Lord! I acknowledge that I am under the bondage of ------------------- (Ex: Sin, fear of death, drugs, self mutilation, shame, rejection, etc).  and I want to be set free from it. I strongly believe that you tasted death, that I can be free form the power of death, in its every form. I believe that you were tempted yet you took victory in all and  I believe you can help out in my temptations and weaknesses too. Wash me one more time by your blood. Cleanse me and make me whole. Thank you Jesus! for being the captain of my salvation and setting me free. In Jesus mighty name I pray.
Amen.

The Transformation - Ephesians 4

Paul describes our position in Christ as a child of God in the previous chapters. As we move on to the second half of this series, Paul is giving us instructions of how we need to be transformed to fit into the place God has prepared for us. Imagine for instance, you have been provided with a high profile job with heavy incentives, or invited for a night's dinner on a formal occasion. Don`t we need to dress and conduct yourself accordingly? The last three chapters of Ephesians are instructions for us, how to conduct our self to be worthy of the vocation we have been called for (4:1).As we meditate on the word of God, let us pray that God will open our eyes of understanding to comprehend and transform yourself, according to these words.
So let`s roll our sleeves, as we metamorphose becoming citizens of the heavenly kingdom each new day!
Our Highest Calling:
  • There is one God and Father, who is above all, through all and in all of us. (4:6)
  • There is one Lord, one faith and one baptism. (4:5)
  • we are all called to be of one body, one spirit and one hope (4:4)
  • Hence we need to be lowly, meek, long suffering and bear one another in love. (4:2)
  • Aim to keep the unity of spirit with bonds of peace. (4:3)

The gift of grace:
  • Jesus descended first into the lower parts of the Earth. (4:9)
  • He led the captivity captive. (AMP Translation: He led a train of vanquished foes –i.e., defeating enemies, such as sin and death), ascended up to heaven and gave various gifts for men.(4:8)
  • Jesus descended to the lower parts of the Earth and then ascended far above all the heavens so that he can fill all things. (4:10)
  • According to this measure of gifts in Christ Jesus, he gives grace to every one of us(4:7)

Edification of the Church:
  • God has made some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and some teachers. (4:11)
  • This he does, for the work of the ministry, that we may be made perfect and for the body of Christ comprising of all of us, to be edified. (4:12)
  • And also, that we may not be tossed to and fro, by every doctrine thrown at us by the sleight of men, that are waiting to deceive us. (4:14)
  • God will keep apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers among us, till we are all united in faith, till we as one body, grow up into a perfect man in the knowledge of Christ and unto the stature that fits the fullness of Christ. (4:13)
  • We need to speak the truth in love and grow up in Christ in all things. (4:15)
  • Christ is the head of the body of the church. In him the whole body is fitly framed together and every joint is supplied. In him there is effectual working of each part and there is increase in the body edifying itself in love. (4:16)
The transformation:
  • Hence, Paul testifies in the Lord, that we henceforth should not live a life, as people who do not know Christ, according to the vanity of our minds. (4:17)
  • People who do not know Christ, their understanding are darkened. They are ignorant and hence are alienated to the life in Christ and their hearts are blind to the truth. ( 4:18)
  • They have given themselves to lasciviousness and to work greedily all things that are morally impure. (4:19)
  • But we have not learned to be like them from Christ (4:20)
  • Hence we ought to conduct ourselves, the way we are taught by Christ and we have heard from him. The truth is in Jesus. (4:21)
  • Paul urges us, to put off the old man that is corrupt and is filled with lust. ( 4:22)
  • He urges us to be renewed in the spirit of our mind. He commends us to wear the new man that God has created, that which is holy and righteous. (4:23,24)

Putting on the new man:
  • As we are of the same body, we should speak truth with each other and put away lying. (4:25)
  • Do not sin when you are angry and give up your wrath before the sun come down. (4: 26)
  • Do not give any place to the devil. (4:27)
  • If we have stolen before, let us not steal. Paul urges us to labor with our hands that we can give to people in need. (4:28)
  • Let no foul language proceed from our mouth, but speak words that are edifying and good, that may minister grace to the hearer. (4:29)
  • The holy spirit of God is the seal of our redemption. Hence we should not grieve him. (4:30)
  • Be away from all bitterness, anger, clamor, evil speaking and all malice. (4:31)
  • Be kind to one another, tender-hearted and forgive others the way Christ for God`s sake forgave us. (4:32)
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come into your presence, believing that we are the redeemed saints inheriting the kingdom of heaven. Help us Lord, to put on the new man and leave behind all the activities of the old man. Dear Lord Jesus, help us to be transformed to become more like you as we move from glory to glory. Thank you Lord for cleansing us and making us whole. In jesus mighty name we pray…..Amen.

Mystery untold - Ephesians 3

Dear friends….wish you all a blessed day! We are going to meditate on the 3rd chapter of Ephesians in this series, today. This Chapter gives us a glimpse of the mystery of how Gentiles can become partakers of the promise in Christ, the grace given to Paul to make this mystery known to all men and a wonderful prayer that Paul makes for us that inspire every Christian to pray each day.
The Mystery of Gentiles being fellow- heirs:
Paul talks about the mystery of the Gentiles being fellow heirs, in this 3rd Chapter (Verses 1-6). He talks about this mystery more in Chapter 2 and I would urge you to refer to the meditation on Chapter 2 (http://christlovelovelin.blogspot.ae/2015/01/the-prize-of-salvation.html ) to know more.
  • THE GREATEST MYSTERY: Gentiles can be fellow-heirs and of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ – by the Gospel of truth. (3:6)
  • This mystery was not made known before days, but is revealed now to the holy apostles and prophets through the Holy Spirit. (3:5)
  • Paul describes himself a prisoner of Christ, for this cause. (3:1)
  • Paul has been given the grace to understand this mystery, and he describes it more in Chapter 2, so that we may read understand his knowledge about it.(3:2-4)
The Grace given to Paul:
  • According to the gift of grace given to Paul, by the effectual working of God`s power, he was made a minister. (3:7)
  • Though he considers himself, the least of all saints, this grace was given to him so that he can preach about this great mystery of the unsearchable riches of Christ to the gentiles. (3:8)
  • This great mystery of Gentiles coming to Christ Jesus has been hidden in God since the beginning of the world. Paul`s goal is to make all men know about this mystery (3:9)
  • So that the manifold wisdom of God will be made known even in the heavenly places, among the powers and principalities, through the church (3:10)
(This describes the authority we have over the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, through Christ Jesus).
  • Hence we have boldness to access God with confidence through Christ Jesus, according to the eternal purpose God purposed in Christ. (3:11,12)

Prayer of Paul for us:
Paul bows his knees before the Father God, in whom the heaven and earth are named and made this prayer below. (3:14, 15)
He prays this prayer so that we will not faint looking at the tribulation he undergoes for us. (3:13)
If you are a believer and undergoing trials and tribulations for Christ sake, make this prayer of Paul, yours too.
  • Paul prays that we will be strengthened in the inner man, by the might of God`s spirit. (3:16)
  • That Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith (3:17)
  • That we may be rooted and grounded in the Love of God (3:17)
  • That we will be able to comprehend the length, breadth, depth and the height of  the knowledge of Christ which passes all knowledge (3:18,19)

Love of Christ:
1 John 4:19
We love Him because He first loved us.
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Romans 13:10.
love is the fulfillment of the law.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love
1 John 4:8
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:10
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
1 Corinthians 8:3
But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.
1 Peter 4:8
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
John 3:1616 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Jesus loves you, no matter who you are, or how you are. Man sees the face, but Jesus sees the depth of your heart. Come just as you are, under the cleansing streams of his blood, and be made holy and righteous before his eyes. Remember, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ: for the blood of Jesus washes away all our sins.
